Freelance AI & integrations engineer

I build the AI features your team doesn't have time to build.

Retrieval systems, LLM pipelines, and the unglamorous API integration work that makes them production-ready. Shipped, monitored, and handed over with documentation.

  • Available for new projects
  • Typical engagement: 2–6 weeks
  • Fixed scope, fixed price

What you can hire me for

Every engagement is scoped and priced up front, so you know what you're getting before you commit to anything.

AI feature development

You know what you want the AI to do. I turn that into a working feature in your product — not a demo.

  • RAG and semantic search over your own data
  • LLM pipelines with evals so quality is measurable
  • Structured extraction from documents, emails, transcripts
  • Cost and latency tuning, caching, fallback handling

API integration

Connecting your systems to someone else's, including the parts their docs don't mention.

  • Third-party API integrations end to end
  • Webhook handling, retries, idempotency, backfills
  • Data sync between platforms that were never meant to talk
  • Auth flows: OAuth, service accounts, API key rotation

Automation & internal tooling

The manual process someone on your team does every week, replaced with something that runs on its own.

  • Scheduled jobs and background workers
  • Internal dashboards and admin tooling
  • Scraping and data collection pipelines
  • Alerting so you find out before your customers do

How it works

From first call to handover

  1. Call

A 30-minute call where you describe the problem. If I'm not the right person, I'll tell you on the call and point you somewhere better.

  2. Proposal

Within two days you get a written scope: what I'll build, what I won't, what it costs, and when it lands. Fixed price. No hourly surprises.

  3. Build

You get working software weekly, not a status update. You can see progress and change direction while changing direction is still cheap.

  4. Handover

Code in your repo, documentation your team can follow, and a walkthrough. Nothing is locked to me.

About

Who you'd be working with

I'm a freelance engineer working on AI features and systems integration. Most of my work is with small teams who have a clear idea of what they want built and need someone who can actually finish it.

I care more about whether something works in production than whether it demos well. That means evals, error handling, retries, and monitoring — the parts that get skipped when a proof of concept gets promoted by accident.

TODO: add a line here about your background — what you did before freelancing, or what got you into this.

Tell me what's broken or what you're trying to ship. If I can help, I'll say so. If I can't, I'll say that too.
